Teaching

Econometrics in the Bachelor of Business Economics and Econometrie in the Dutch-language bachelor programmes in business engineering and business economics, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, with Mathieu Louis.

Service

• Board member of the Young Academy of Belgium, member since 2024 and board member since 2025.
• Part of the VUB Generative AI Agenda across research, education, and administration, 2023 to 2025.
• Member of the ad hoc working group on generative AI in education of the Flemish Interuniversity Council (VLIR).
• Co-organiser of the Ada Lovelace Algorithmic Lectures at the Data Analytics Lab, with guests including Desi R. Ivanova, Sam Klein, and Thilo Hagendorff.
• Co-creator of the monthly Economic Policy Uncertainty index for Belgium.
• Academic AI expert for the Flanders AI Academy (2023) and ambassador for PyTorch Lightning.
• Regular open-source contributor of code and data on GitHub and Zenodo.
